Description:
Objective / Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to unload/receive, store, and load/ship purchased goods.

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks
Performance must reflect appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below.
General:
• Manage cleanliness of department and grounds.
• Maintain a safe working environment; Observe all OSHA and Company safety policies.
• Generate and identify Corrective Action reports and Opportunities for Improvement reports.
• Follow all ISO requirements; ensure ISO documentation is current and adhered to.
• Operate tow motor safely and efficiently; conduct forklift inspection at the beginning of each shift.
• Report all instances of damages, lost material, or other issues immediately.
• Keep management abreast of significant issues or developments that impact quality, safety, health, or environmental.
• Perform physical inventory and verification of condition of product as requested.
• Other duties as assigned by the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor.

Shipping Associate (Tier I):
• Pulling orders for staging and shipping.
• Responsible for order accuracy before loading.
• Inspection of outbound materials and packaging.
• Perform row consolidation and record material movements.
• Generate inventory and shipping labels utilizing Company provided label software.
• Perform stock put away/material handling.
• Manage cleanliness of all staging areas and general warehouse.
• Maintenance of OCS bins.

Dock Associate (Tier II):
• Inspects loading and unloading operations to ensure compliance with shipping and receiving specifications.
• Inspects trailers prior to loading and unloading to ensure safe material handling and transport of goods.
• Responsible for order accuracy before and during loading.
• Performs loading and unloading of packaged goods.
• Seals loaded trailers upon request.
• Manage cleanliness of docks inside and outside of building.

Receiving & Work Orders Associate (Tier III):
• Compare vendor, returned material, and Company documents for proper receipt.
• Inspect deliveries to ensure they match the order criteria and are undamaged.
• Record all inbound goods on the proper receipt reports.
• Inspection of inbound and returned materials; Identify contaminations by visual inspections.
• Perform necessary segregation and down stacking of damaged product.
• Responsible for pulling samples and transport of the samples to the lab for all inbounded product.
• Initiate and complete Row Charts.
• Generate inventory and shipping labels utilizing Company provided label software.
• Manage cleanliness of workstations.
• Conduct packaged goods to packaged goods work orders as assigned.

• Zone Lead (Tier IV):
• Responsible for order accuracy for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Generate inventory and shipping labels utilizing Company provided label software.
• Assist with training of employees.
• Responsible for ensuring all inbound paperwork is accurate and has the correct documentation before submitting to the inventory department for entry.
• Accurately and legibly complete warehouse receiver tally sheets, samples, row charts, and Misc. Charge forms.

Minimum Qualifications / Education / Certifications
1. Education:
a. High school diploma preferred; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
b. Minimum of three years forklift experience.
2. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to round to nearest whole number.
3. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
4. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Work Environment / Conditions
The work environment/conditions described herein are representative of those that an incumbent may experience, and therefore must be adaptable to.
1. Must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise.
2. Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.
3. All injuries regardless of severity must be reported to your Supervisor/HR immediately.
