Description:
Use, maintain, and care for tools and safety equipment

Assist customers at the walk-in counter by identifying their need, creating an invoice, and receiving payment.

Identify components, measure, cut, assemble, crimp, industrial hydraulic hose assemblies.

Assemble, troubleshoot, identify work required, clean and repair mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic mobile equipment components (cylinders, valves, pumps, etc.)

Disassemble equipment in order to repair and/or replace damaged or defective mechanisms or components

Test equipment after reassembling to verify performance, accuracy, and compliance to specifications

Cuts and/or joins metal parts in order to fabricate or repair equipment using tools such as mig welder, tig welder, oxyacetylene torch, chop saw, grinder, drill press, clamps, and hand and power tools.

Moves material or supplies to directed locations in order to expedite repair work or modifications using forklifts.

Learn to identify seals for specialty seal kits.

Occasional local delivery of customer orders.

Maintain good upkeep of the company’s equipment, reporting any losses or breakages to your supervisor and keeping items put away when not in use.

Ensure tools and equipment will be kept in good working order and properly stored

Occasionally assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory

Clean / maintain the warehouse and other working areas

Other various duties as requested by the department supervisor.

Basic knowledge or experience with CNC programming is a plus.

Required Skills:
Steel-toe boots (safety glasses are provided)

Valid driver’s license

Be reliable and on time

Attention to detail

Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and in a team environment

Follows prescribed work methods in accomplishment of assignments

The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms

Work in an orderly and tidy manner

Be able to use hand tools and power tools

Excellent communication skills

Strong problem-solving abilities

Flexibility and adaptability to changing work environments and schedules

Dealing with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

Basic computer knowledge

Full or Part Time:
full time summer / part time school year

Hours:
Monday – Friday 8-5, During school year part time hours can be worked out.

Wage:
Starts at $15 an hour.
