Job Title:
Window installer apprentice

Company/Organization:
Independent contractor -window installation

Description:
A lead window installer looking for a reliable, ambitious candidate who’s interested in A job that within 5 years if taken seriously will earn you a a six-figure salary. I have a zero drug tolerance policy on my crew. If you have basic math skills, really want to learn, have your own transportation then I can train you to be a good installer. There are currently four guys in Northeast Ohio who are making between $150k and $250k a year who came up under my tutelage. The only limitation to how far you go is how far you want to go. We are a crew that takes a lot of pride in the quality of our work and if it’s not up to our standards it will be asked to be redone. You’ll be happy with that method later.

Required Skills:
Just general knowledge of how to use basic tools, basic math skills you have to be able to count by eighths. We don’t deal with fractions smaller than that. I can’t stress the reliability part enough. You don’t have to have any home improvement trade experience. You just have to be willing to learn and I can make you a good installer. If you take it serious within 5 years, I can have you placed into a lead installer position.

Full or Part Time:
Varies based on the job

Hours:
Everyday is a different job. It’s almost exclusively residential. You’ll start off by joining a very capable crew,. We meet at the office at 7:00 a.m. And very seldom are we out there past 2:00 p.m..

Wage:
It will start off a paid apprenticeship at the begining. The company I work for does offer a direct to company hire option where you receive health insurance, 401k paid time off company credit card and in some cases, Option 2 a fixed rate of $150 a day on taxed in 1099 at the end of the year. Which will equal out to more money unless the insurance in PTO valuable to you in your personal situation. The more you learn, the more raises you earn. When I feel you’ve reached the point in your training where you’re ready to take on a job on your own or at least co-lead a job then a company vehicle could be negotiated if you need it. It depends on your personal situation. In my case, the subcontractor route is more profitable but everybody’s different. the option is there .

Start Date:
Our most recent apprentice moved out of state, so we’re ready to onboard as soon as possible.
