Heraeus Electro-Nite is in search of a self-motivated, career-oriented individual who enjoys working in a shop environment with hand tools, doing mechanical assembly. Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of a High School Diploma and have some experience professionally as a Mechanic, HVAC or Repair Technician or as a hobby working on, building, repairing cars, motorcycles, boats or equipment. This position will work out of our Medina, OH facility.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
• Assemble and repair poles, replace parts of existing poles.
• Drive company vehicle to pick-up and deliver poles to customers (steel mills).
• Daily inventory and scheduling.

Required Skills:
What is Required for this role:
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prefer Mechanical or Electronics Certificate or Degree from a technical school or the military.
• Must possess a customer service, customer first mentality and present oneself in a professional manner especially when interacting with customers.
• Must be mechanically inclined (this can be via work experience or a hobby such as building motorcycles, cars, boats, etc.)
• Experience troubleshooting electronic and/or pneumatic equipment or instruments to the component level highly desired.
• Previous experience as a Mechanic, HVAC or Service/Repair Technician preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th”, work instructions, detailed drawings/blueprints (electrical/mechanical).
• Previous electrical or electronic assembly experience highly desired.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, including heavy wrenches and pipes.
• Experience with hand tools, mechanical assembly, electrical testing, stripping wires and crimping wires desired.
• Previous experience working in a shop environment and going out on the road for service calls is desired.
• Must be a self-starter with good time management skills and can work under minimal supervision.
• Reliability and good attendance record.
• Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass pre employment drug screen and background check.

Hours:
Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm with 30 minute meal break
occasional OT

Wage:
compensation depends on experience
