Description:
Obtain valuable security/law enforcement experience and training in patrol procedures, metal detection, and other aspects of enforcement protection, including dispatch. Associate housing offered during the seasonal operation for ages 18+ with a permanent address outside a 30 mile radius of Sandusky, Ohio. A minimal weekly payroll deduction will occur to cover the housing fee.

Required Skills:
The Cedar Point Security Department is currently seeking individuals who are willing to dedicate the summer months from May through November 2026. Applicants willing accept the challenge to work hard and accomplish our goals of maintaining order and peace, protecting life and Cedar Point’s assets, along with enforcing laws, policies and procedures. The experience you receive will help build a solid foundation to jump start your future for a successful career in Criminal Justice.

Full or Part Time:
Seasonal

Hours:
Operations for the department are 24/7 with seasonal positions being divided over the course of 3 shifts.

Shifts may vary between 8, 10 and 12 hour shifts with a maximum of 60 hours in a week.

Schedules target 5 working days with an option to work a 6th day as demand permits.

Shifts include afternoons, nights and weekends as well as holiday work during the seasons holidays.

All positions are guest facing and require professional interactions. Shifts are largely spent standing and walking based on assignment.

Wage:
Base rate begins at $16 per hour.
