Architectural Justice: Metal Shop Technician

Job Title:
Metal Shop Technician

Company/Organization:
Architectural Justice

Description:
At Fittings Metal Collection, we design and build handcrafted metal shelving, wine racking, and architectural accents for luxury homes and hospitality spaces across the country. Every piece that leaves our shop carries the standard of a company that has delivered artisan-level craftsmanship for 40 years.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in doing things right — detail-oriented and comfortable working with their hands — and wants to be part of a small shop team where your work shows in every finished piece.

What You’ll Do:

Pull and prepare parts accurately from work orders and assemble metal components
Inspect completed assemblies for quality, fit, and finish
Maintain organized inventory and communicate material needs to your supervisor
Safely operate shop equipment including saws, sanders, and hand tools
Package and prepare finished products for shipment so they arrive in perfect condition
Keep a clean, organized, and safe workspace

What We’re Looking For:

Some experience in assembly, fabrication, manufacturing, or a hands-on trade (1 year preferred, but we’ll train the right person)
Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail — you notice when something’s off, and you fix it
Reliable, organized, and able to work both independently and with a team
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a full shift
