Excel Solutions is hiring talented Field Service Technicians for the Dock and Door Industry, and will pay you competitively for your work!

A Field Service Technician works on-the-road in the Cleveland area to help install and repair dock & door equipment for customers including under-construction projects, warehouses, food processing facilities, and more.
A qualified applicant has previous experience with mechanical components, basic electrical and wiring, and stick + overhead welding. On-site troubleshooting is required for repairs. This work is performed outdoors, at heights, and includes lifting 75 lbs.

We work with vendors to provide the Cleveland and Akron area with exclusive loading dock equipment, and fabric speed doors including Poweramp® and DYNACO brands. A professional attitude and aptitude for growth is required for this position.

Required Skills:
Valid driver’s license
Good driving record
Ability to work from ladders and lifts
Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment
Comfortable working outdoors and in industrial environments
Reliable and dependable
Willingness to learn
Arc welding experience
Ability to use hand and power tools
Troubleshooting and problem-solving
Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics
Experience with hydraulic systems
Experience with springs, bearings, chains, rollers and mechanical components
Equipment installation and repair
Troubleshooting equipment in the field
Preventive maintenance
Installation and service
Ability to diagnose problems independently
Customer-service skills
Ability to communicate clearly with customers
Complete service reports accurately

Full or Part Time:
Full Time

Hours:
7:30 AM – 4:30 PM – these are the typical hours, however they do vary.

Wage:
$25.00/Hr – $40.00+/Hr
