Description:
Under general direction, this position is responsible for all aspects of the physical production of signs in addition to installation of signs including vehicle graphics and vehicle wraps. Sign assembly includes preparing substrates and applying vinyl according to written instructions. This position must also complete surveys. Must have strong math skills. Graphic design knowledge helpful but not needed. Must have a High School diploma or equivalency.. On the job training for the right candidate will be provided. Production includes the operation of our large CNC Smart Shop machine.

Required Skills:
Our ideal candidate for this position is someone who is energetic, responsive, eager to learn, and has good math and mechanical skills. Attention to details with a continuous improvement mindset and a positive attitude are critical success factors. Problem solving skills are highly valued in candidates for this position. You will learn to run our large format digital printers, our plotters/cutters, apply vinyl to various substrates and finish work orders to ensure timely delivery of finished orders. You will be trained to operate our CNC Smart Shop 2 4’ x 8’ Router to produce dimensional shapes, letters and signage from many material sources. Experience with applying vinyl/graphics to floors, walls, windows and vehicles are preferred. The candidate will both lead and assist in a wide array of sign installation projects and therefore knowledge and experience with light power tools with a mechanical aptitude are valuable skill sets. You will be involved in daily team meetings, and be intimately involved in the success of the FASTSIGNS Center.

830-5 Monday-Friday

Wage:
$14-18 per hour dependent on skills/experience level
