The position of Direct Support Professional (DSP) is, in all aspects, an extremely important position. Direct Support Professionals not only help improve the daily quality of life for individuals with intellectual disabilities, they assist them to grow, learn, self-advocate, and improve upon themselves. They help change the lives of the individuals with which they work with. Staff provide daily support to individuals with disabilities in the individual’s homes (6-8 clients in one home) with activities like assisting with meals, providing help with hygiene and personal care, guiding on social interactions. DSPs also assist the individuals in the community on appointments, recreational activities, and providing transportation to and from work.

Required Skills:
No experience need, on job training provided. STNA status is maintained through education received at TLC and transfer of required information to the ODH.

Full or Part Time:
Full or part time

Open positions for 6a-2p, 2p-10p, and 10p-6a full time, part time, PRN, and flexible shifts available.

Starting wage $13.00/hr. First raise after 90 days to $13.68. Additional increases with career advancements up to $16.00/hr by becoming certified as a medication administrator, classes offered through the company.

Start Date:
ASAP, classes for new hires are held monthly.
