Description:
\nDTX Detail is looking for a motivated, hands-on technician to join our truck reconditioning\/detailing shop. This role involves restoring and preparing new and used commercial trucks to showroom condition while learning the systems needed to eventually oversee and manage shop operations.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities include:
\nProfessional detailing of new and used commercial trucks<\/p>\n
Chrome polishing and aluminum buffing<\/p>\n
Minor cosmetic body work and paint touch-ups<\/p>\n
Light refinish work<\/p>\n
Wheel polishing using commercial wheel machine<\/p>\n
Interior and exterior restoration<\/p>\n
Maintaining shop organization, workflow, and quality standards<\/p>\n
Ordering shop supplies, materials, and parts as needed<\/p>\n
Monitoring inventory levels and keeping the shop properly stocked<\/p>\n
Assisting with scheduling, job prioritization, and overall shop efficiency<\/p>\n
Helping maintain equipment and ensuring the shop runs smoothly day-to-day<\/p>\n
What we\u2019re looking for:
\nStrong work ethic and attention to detail<\/p>\n
Experience with detailing, polishing, bodywork, or automotive reconditioning (preferred but not required)<\/p>\n
Willingness to learn multiple skills in truck restoration and appearance work<\/p>\n
Leadership mindset with interest in growing into a shop manager role<\/p>\n
Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment<\/p>\n
