Job Summary: An Accounts Receivable Specialist at National Design Mart is responsible for billing and closing jobs which require invoicing and ensuring all financial aspects of material, labor, deliveries, and other associated costs are properly documented and processed. The Accounts Receivable Specialist works closely with other internal departments to ensure a smooth billing process.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:
\n\u2022 Billing, Invoicing, Payment processing (50%)
\n\u2022 Account maintenance, Reporting, Monthly reconciliation (50%)
\nEssential Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:
\n\u2022 Process and record customer payments; generate and distribute invoices.
\n\u2022 Maintain accurate customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies as needed.
\n\u2022 Monitor and follow up on past-due accounts to support collections.
\n\u2022 Prepare AR reports and assist with monthly billing and reconciliations.
\n\u2022 Maintain organized records and support overall accounting operations.
\nRequirements:
\n\u2022 High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
\n\u2022 Previous Accounts Receivable experience preferred.
\n\u2022 Strong attention to detail and analytic abilities.
\n\u2022 Strong time management and organizational skills.
\n\u2022 Knowledge of basic accounting principles preferred; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.<\/p>\n
Physical Requirements:
\n\u2022 Ability to sit at a desk for long periods of time.
\n\u2022 Ability to use a computer, keyboard, mouse.<\/p>\n
Work Environment:
\n\u2022 Retail Store\/Office<\/p>\n
Work Schedule:
\n\u2022 Full Time, Monday \u2013 Friday
\n\u2022 8:00am – 4:30pm
\n\u2022 30 minute uninterrupted lunch break<\/p>\n
