Provide a resume and employment history with your application in order to be considered.<\/p>\n<p>Description:<\/p>\n<p>The Electrical Tech 2 coordinates and executes maintenance electrical functions safely in the facility so the plant equipment and services perform at maximum levels and minimize unscheduled interruption of the plant operation. This position also trains other craft persons on electrical maintenance procedures and best practices and supports mechanical activities as needed. Strong knowledge of troubleshooting programmable logic controllers, electrical systems, and process control systems is required.<\/p>\n<p>This is a full-time role that will report to the Electrical Foreman and indirectly to the Maintenance Leader. This position will begin as an 8-hr day shift, then, upon qualification and reasonable training period, will become an 8 hr night shift role.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Live and adhere to the Safety Culture of Zero Accidents, and ensure plant safety needs are given top priority, comply with all safety regulations, and maintain clean and organized work areas<br \/>\nComply with all plant rules and corporate policies with regard to business conduct.<br \/>\nEnsures operation of machinery and electrical equipment by completing preventive, diagnostic, and corrective maintenance on drives, backup power systems, motors, and other electronic systems, utilizing diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer&#8217;s instructions, engineering specifications and industry best practices<br \/>\nTroubleshoots and makes minor program modifications to HMIs, PLCs, Servos, VFD\u2019s and other control systems<br \/>\nProvides daily support to the production line and makes timely and appropriate decisions when an emergency or breakdown occurs so that production interruption is minimized<br \/>\nSupports maintenance technicians and assists with mechanical work as needed.<br \/>\nIdentifies opportunities for improving process controls and instrumentation and executes implementation with engineering support as needed.<br \/>\nUnderstands and able to troubleshoot and navigate the manufacturing LAN and process communications<br \/>\nAssists with electrical, instrumentation and control installations and plant-led capital projects<br \/>\nProvides feedback and recommendations for downtime and shop work for electrical activities with respect to work requests, downtime lists and assigned projects<br \/>\nTrains others on electrical maintenance procedures and best practices<br \/>\nActively support and engage in plant TPM initiatives, housekeeping, and 5S programs<br \/>\nMaintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and trainings; reviewing technical publications; establishing professional and intercompany networks<br \/>\nAble to support the plant outside of normally scheduled hours as needed (remote or in person)<br \/>\nPerforms other related duties consistent with the nature of the job as directed by the supervisor<\/p>\n<p>Essential Qualifications:<\/p>\n<p>Basic knowledge of mathematics<br \/>\nExcellent communication skills<br \/>\nDemonstrates initiative, creativity, and problem-solving ability<br \/>\nExcellent attention to detail<br \/>\nExcellent attendance<br \/>\nAble to read and interpret blueprints and skematics<br \/>\nAble to demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude<br \/>\nAble to troubleshoot and program PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs<br \/>\nDisplays a positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn<br \/>\nSelf-starter, motivated and goal\/results oriented<br \/>\nWilling and able to teach\/train others<br \/>\nStrong computer aptitude (typing, MS office suite, etc.)<br \/>\nAble to use a multimeter and other electrical troubleshooting instruments\/tools<br \/>\nMust be able to score at or above Class 1 mechanic level on the maintenance assessment<\/p>\n<p>Job Requirements:<\/p>\n<p>Education\/Experience<\/p>\n<p>High School Diploma or Equivalent<br \/>\nMust have at least 2 years relevant experience in an industrial manufacturing environment<br \/>\nMust be legally able to work in the United States<br \/>\nMust read, write, and speak English<br \/>\nPerform basic arithmetic \u2013 addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and work with fractions<br \/>\nAble to safety operate machine shop equipment, instruments, and tools<\/p>\n<p>Physical Requirements<\/p>\n<p>Must be drug and alcohol free<br \/>\nAble to routinely lift up to 40 lbs without assistance<br \/>\nWork in extreme hot\/cold manufacturing environment<br \/>\nAble to walk, stand or sit for extended periods of time<br \/>\nAble to work in cramped areas and enter confined spaces<br \/>\nAble to work at heights<br \/>\nAble to walk up and down ladders, stairs and platforms frequently<br \/>\nAble to safeguard self with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) \u2013 steel toed shoes, gloves, eye protection (glasses, goggles, and\/or face shields), and face masks as necessary<\/p>\n<p>Required Skills:<\/p>\n<p>Full or Part Time:<br \/>\nFull Time<\/p>\n<p>Hours:<br \/>\nSunday &#8211;
