Passing grade is 70% or better for all parts of the test. All test results and scores are subject to public record laws. Test will be held on June 30th (Time TBD depending on total no. of applicants).<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications:<br \/>\n\u2022 High school diploma or equivalent required.<br \/>\n\u2022 Acceptable results on BCI &amp; FBI criminal background checks and completes enrollment in Rapback.<br \/>\n\u2022 One to three years of related work experience including clerical and customer service preferred.<br \/>\n\u2022 Competitive testing for in-house candidates; civil service testing for entry-level candidates required.<br \/>\n\u2022 Alternatives to the above qualifications as superintendent or board of education deem appropriate.<\/p>\n<p>Essential Functions: (Not intended to be a complete list)<br \/>\n\u2022 Performs general duties such as greeting visitors, answering phone and directing calls, accepting deliveries.<br \/>\n\u2022 Prepares routine correspondence and processes required reports timely.<br \/>\n\u2022 Assists students and parents regularly with various issues.<br \/>\n\u2022 Reviews employee entries for assigned building\/department in the automated attendance system.<br \/>\n\u2022 Reviews submitted time sheets for accuracy, makes sure they are appropriately approved.<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintains accurate information on various spreadsheets and computer programs.<br \/>\n\u2022 Assists with organizing and overseeing department\/building events.<br \/>\n\u2022 Generates Purchase Orders for supplies, verifies receipt of goods, and processes payment of invoices, credit card bills and cash reimbursements while insuring within budget.<br \/>\n\u2022 Assists with preparing annual budget.<br \/>\n\u2022 Works with principal to process student disciplinary paperwork and other projects as assigned.<br \/>\n\u2022 Records daily student attendance.<br \/>\n\u2022 Tracks and verifies new student enrollments and withdrawals.<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintains up-to-date school calendar, building\/department webpage, digital sign, etc\u2026.<br \/>\n\u2022 Uses discretion and maintains the confidentiality of sensitive information.<br \/>\n\u2022 Promotes good public relations and positive working relationships by personal appearance, attitude, and using tact and diplomacy in all communications.<\/p>\n<p>Veterans Preference: Any veteran of the U. S. Armed Forces who has been honorably discharged and who PASSES the test may receive an additional credit provided proof of honorable discharge (DD-214) is presented and verified prior to the date of the examination.<br \/>\nProbation: All persons appointed to permanent positions are subject to a probationary period of 120 days worked.
