\n**Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities**<\/p>\n
1. Provide client services as directed by the Director of Nursing or RN Supervisor.<\/p>\n
2. Provide personal care as needed, including:<\/p>\n
* Bathing, hygiene, grooming, and oral care
\n* Dressing, undressing, and toileting assistance
\n* Light housekeeping, bed-making, and maintaining an orderly environment
\n* Meal preparation, cleanup, and feeding assistance
\n* Medication reminders\/self-administration support
\n* Skin care support, repositioning, and mobility encouragement
\n* Active\/passive range-of-motion assistance per care plan
\n* Walking, transferring, and mobility assistance
\n* Taking and recording vital signs, height, weight, intake, and output as required<\/p>\n
3. Maintain a safe environment and provide quality care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards.<\/p>\n
4. Assist with transportation, including doctor appointments, shopping, and outdoor activities.<\/p>\n
5. Follow infection control procedures and Universal Precautions.<\/p>\n
6. Respond appropriately to emergency situations.<\/p>\n
7. Use equipment safely and properly.<\/p>\n
8. Protect client rights, including:<\/p>\n
* Privacy and dignity during care
\n* The right to accept or refuse care
\n* Confidentiality of client information<\/p>\n
