Description:
\nThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical condition, safety, appearance, and overall operation of Parkridge Apartments and assigned Parkview residential properties. This position performs a variety of maintenance, repair, preventative maintenance, groundskeeping, pool maintenance, turnover, and administrative duties while providing exceptional service to residents and supporting company operations.
\nMaintenance Technicians are expected to work independently, prioritize multiple responsibilities, communicate effectively with management and staff, and participate in the on- call rotation. While many tasks are assigned through the work order system, certain responsibilities are ongoing and must be completed routinely without specific instruction. Additional duties may be assigned by management as business needs require.<\/p>\n
Required Skills:
\n\u2022 Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC systems, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
\n\u2022 Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
\n\u2022 Strong customer service and communication skills.<\/p>\n
Physical Requirements:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
\n\u2022 Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift heavier items with assistance.
\n\u2022 Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including snow, rain, heat, and cold temperatures.<\/p>\n
Full or Part Time:
\nFull Time<\/p>\n
Hours:
\nMonday through Friday: either 8:00-4:30 or 8:30-5:00. Rotating on-call responsibilities.<\/p>\n
Wage:
\n$24.50-$30.00 per hour depending on skill level.<\/p>\n
